Minute To Win It

This is a list of “Minute To Win It” games. If you want more information on a particular game, you can find them listed alphabetically at http://www.nbc.com/minute-to-win-it/how-to/. For ease of tracking the games, please provide all the supplies needed for whatever game you choose to help with. If you want or need help preparing supplies for a game, you can find another family or two and work together. The VO will print & laminate instructions of games that are donated. Put items together in a bag and label it with the game’s name.

2 sheets of 10 starts to stories / laminated (the VO will laminate)

Find the other half (4 sets)

Post it sheets for identity to be written on & placed on forehead

Memory Game

Small/medium tray, Up to 20 small items – ex: watch, shoe lace, corkscrew, nail clippers, rubber band, screw, pen, picture, key, ring, coin, toothpaste, matchstick, candle, candy, walnut, marble, piece of string, feather

The Knock-out Wink

Quick on the Draw

20 – 30 individual cards with the names of common objects – things everyone will know, but that aren’t necessarily easy to draw.

Ex: a cucumber, a black hole, magazine, dolphin, medicine tablet, squirrel, fried egg, cell phone, shooting star, frog, bar of soap, lipstick, CD, rose, jumbo jet, hippopotamus, wedding ring, a big toe-nail, crocodile, three pairs of socks, a fire…

¼ size sheets of paper to draw on

Dingo (This is a math game similar to Bingo. The VO will create the cards.)

2 dice, 180 small buttons (the size of M&M’s), or similar item, to use as markers to cover up numbers.

What’s in the picture?

5 – 10 detailed pictures from a magazine, book or postcard. The more details in the pictures the better. Laminated. (The VO will laminate)

Bean Bag Games

We are hoping to get as many bean bags as we can... home made or purchased. Making bean bag board games and mats is another easy thing to do at home inexpensively. Here is information on a few mats we found online. Just for example:
